One of the classical ski mountaineering excursion in Dolomites is to Punta Rocca in Marmolada.
This is a simple ascent to the highest peak of the Dolomites in a breathtaking natural landscape from which you can admire a wonderful view. The ascent is from Lake Fedaia dam to Pian dei Fiacconi area or between Sass de le Undes and Sass de le Dodes.

The descent could be in the same way to the ascent, or following the ski slope till Fedaia Pass.
Thanks to its altitude and exposure, this is a good excursion normally chosed between November and May and it’s really popular.
