Since 2016 Sottoguda has been recognized as member of Borghi più belli d’Italia an important award in order to promote local history, culture, art, landscape and the small italian hamlets’ traditions.
Since 2018 the whole Rocca Pietore municipality has became Bandiera Arancione, a renowned Touring Club Italiano award. This accreditation focuses on hinterland hamlets who distinguish themselves thanks to excellence of their high quality hospitality.
Skiresort.info, the most important ski resort website in Europe, Skiresort.info has awarded Arabba/Marmolada ski resort as TEST WINNER 2019 in the “World leading ski resort with up to 80 km of slopes” category.
In 2010/2011 winter season our slope “La Bellunese” was awarded as the 10th best ski slope in Italy. The selection board was composed of magazine “SCI” readers.
Since 2009 Dolomites have been entered in the UNESCO World Heritage. Marmolada is the second of 9 dolomites systems guarded by ONU.
