Great War ski tour, known also as Peace route, was born to visit the places which have been important for the fights during First World War.
A famous ski tour in the heart of the Dolomites, at the foot of some of the most important Dolomites peaks such as Civetta, Pelmo, Tofana, but also Lagazuoi, Marmolada and Sella Group.
The ski slopes belonging to this tour are all wonderful and suitable for everyone, some of them in particular are the slope between Lagazuoi and Armentarola and La Bellunese ski slope from Punta Rocca in Marmolada to the village of Malga Ciapela.
This tour could be done both clockwise, following blue signs, and anti-clockwise following red indicators. Rocca Pietore land Rocca Pietore land is an ideal staring point both if you will decide to do this ski tour clockwise with Marmolada Cable car or Padon chairlift and anti-clockwise taking Malga Ciapela – Alleghe ski bus.
This tour can be easily completed in a day by a medium skier.
