A long but amazing via ferrata route on Mount Marmolada starting from Fedaia Pass and reaching Serauta peak.
Via Ferrata Eterna, also called Ferrata Brigata Cadore, could be divided into 3 different parts: the first short and tough, the second easier and the third more challenging and “athletic”.
This via ferrata finishes at Serauta Monumental Area, close to the medium lift station of Marmolada cable car.
The descent could be done in two different ways:
– the first route is taking Marmolada cable car till Malga Ciapela and than by bus to Fedaia Pass. (it is suggested to pay attention to Dolomiti Bus timetable)
– the second possibility is walking down by feet on the Marmolada ski slope. This is a route along the glacier and it necessary to have all the proper equipment. It is suggested to inform yourself in advance on the glacier conditions.
