On the volcanic Mount Mesola rock an historical via ferrata designs one of the most difficult alpine excursion of the Dolomites.
Via Ferrata delle Trincee is a long but amazing route on the mountain ridge between Mount Marmolada and Sella Group.
A marvellous land where you can visit also Great War trenches from inside and reach the top of Mount Mesola. This is a medium level via ferrata, not suitable for beginners. The finish point of this excursion is at Bivacco Bontadini, few minutes far away from Rifugio Padon.
