The Malga Ciapela cliff, not far from theCapanna Bill Refugein Malga Ciapela, is famous for the quality of the rock and because it is easy to reach. The rock in particular is composed of limestone from the Marmolada, compact and smooth, and the climbing is both athletic and technical, similar to the climbing routes on the south face of Mount Marmolada.
