If you enter the ancient village of Palue, a few steps far away from Sottoguda, you will discover a place where time seems to be stopped: narrow roads, wooden haylofts and ancient buildings handle with care by the inhabitants.
Starting from the little square of the village, you can follow a little uphill road which will take you into a marvellous beech forest.
This regular footpath allow you to reach Vallier hamlet: a very small village with only one inhabitant opposite Mount Sasso Bianco.
An ideal nordic walking excursion, short but enjoyable till the other small hamlet of Albe. All the entire land is called by the locals with the name of Sofedera.
You can decide to come back following the same way to go or to continue your ring route till Col di Rocca village.
