Here starts \u201cLa Bellunese\u201c, the longest and most exciting slope of the entire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/attivita\/dolomiti-superski\/\">Dolomiti Superski area<\/a> with its 12 km long and 1810 meters of altitude difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malga Ciapela is the gateway to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/en\/activities\/arabba-marmolada-ski-area\/\">Arabba-Marmolada ski area<\/a>, with 62 km of slopes and 27 ski lifts. From here it is possible to take two of the most evocative ski tours of the Dolomites: the Sellaronda and the Great War Ski Tour. But winter here is not just skiing! You can live the experience of a snowshoe exploring the woods and the Rocca Pietore\u2019s valleys or try Nordic skiing on the Marmolada Nordic Ski Area, 3 rings of different difficulty between pastures and woods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But winter here is not just skiing! You can therefore live the experience of an excursion with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/en\/activities\/snowshoes-excursions\/\">snowshoes<\/a> exploring the territory of Rocca Pietore or try your hand at the practice of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/en\/activities\/ski-mountaineering\/\">Nordic skies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the summer season Malga Ciap\u00e8la turns into a natural paradise where you can reconnect yourself with nature, there are many recommended excursions, like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/categorie-attivita\/escursioni-estate\/#filter=r-fullyTranslatedLangus-,sb-sortedBy-0\">Ombretta and Franzedaz Valleys<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ombretta Valley, where is located the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/en\/unesco-dolomites\/\">UNESCO<\/a> Geographical Center of the Dolomites, can be reached in about an hour and a half of walking through the woods and high-altitude pastures, right under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/en\/places\/marmolada\/\">Marmolada<\/a> South face. Along the way there are the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/en\/activities\/mountain-farms\/\">mountain huts<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitmarmolada.com\/en\/activities\/our-mountain-huts\/\">refuge<\/a>, resting points for hikers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Franzed\u00e0z Valley is instead a place surrounded by greenery, reachable in an hour\u2019s walk, where there are old huts. It is the perfect place for a picnic in the silence and stillness of the mountain.
